Wired LAN supports Gigabit Ethernet that no matter in the wired or wireless transmission, WZR-HP-G450H brings the high quality video era and creates the comfortable wireless network environment. Wireless security supports hybrid encryption of WPA2-PSK (AES, TKIP), WPA-PSK (AES, TKIP), 128/64-bit WEP. USB2.0 port may be connected to Buffalo's USB external hard drive for network storage after simple setting.

This product is the wireless base station supporting 11n 450 Mbps and contain the HighPower transmission function. It supports the optical-fiber wideband line of high-speed transmission that is suitable for the transmission of large-size file transmission and playing of the high-quality animation.

450 Mbps is the theoretical value but not the actual speed of data transmission.
To reach the speed of 450 Mbps, the wireless network card must support the same specification. Please refer to the information in the product specification website for related supporting products.

450 Mbps 11n and HighPower technology strengthen the data transmission and communication strength

This product supports 11n specification of the wireless network and adopts MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology to realize the simultaneous communication by multiple antennas. Therefore, it may use multiple communication paths to accelerate the data transmission.
The earlier product contains 2 antennas to transmit by 2 communication paths at the frequency of 40Mhz (2 channels), and reaches the speed of 300 Mbps, while this product contains 3 antennas to transmit at the frequency of 40Mhz, and reaches the high speed of 450 Mbps (theoretical value).

Adjustable Antenna

3 5dBi adjustable antennas that the angle may be adjusted according to the position to reach the best reception effect, and the antenna can be automatically adjusted according to the service environment.

Wired network supports Gigabit

Any devices using the 2.4GHz such as computer, game machine or smart phone may also be connected.

To connect at the speed of 450 Mbps, the wireless network card shall also support the same specification.

AOSS™ is a quick and simple wireless network connection and encryption setting

"AOSS™" function support can simply set the wireless network. Connection and encryption are automatically complicated by pressing the AOSS™ button on the base station and launching the AOSS™ function of Client Manager, the wireless network connection program, without any complicated setting. Other than game machines like NDS Lite and Wii, other products containing the AOSS function such as printer or other digital household appliances may also simply use it (AOSS™ area).
It also supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), wireless network setting function of the industrial standard drafted by Wi-Fi Alliance, and the user may use related products at ease in the future.

Both wireless router and wireless network card must support AOSS™/WPS when setting AOSS™/WPS.
Please check the product instruction for AOSS™ connection.
It is not guaranteed that all laptops with internal wireless network card may achieve the AOSS™ connection by Client Manager.

Even if the used device does not support AOSS™ or WPS, the network key with high security may still be automatically set. It supports "AES" , an encryption mode without cracking method right now, so the user may use the wireless network at ease. Besides, since "AES"is stronger than the earlier encryption mode, it is suggested to use"AES"in the wireless network.

It supports the strong encryption mode "WPA2"

WPA2 is a stronger security specification of wireless network drafted by Wi-Fi Alliance in September of 2004. It uses the encryption mode that cannot be cracked currently that the user may use the wireless network at ease.

It contains the "electric wave mixing prevention function" to improve the communication environment interfered by the electric wave

It automatically searches and switches to the channel not in use to prevent the interference of radio wave. When AOSS/WPS is set or the power is on, it automatically scans all channels and switches to the channel not in use without any complicated setting.

It contains the "router/bridge switch"

All functions of the router will be suspended once switched to the bridge mode.

It contains the "Multi Security"function that once AOSS is pressed, it will automatically select the highest level of encryption according to the encryption level supported by the device. It may realize the mixed encryption of AES, TKIP and WEP.
